Free Summer Lunch
Litchfield Public Schools will be offering a free lunch for kids ages 0 - 18. Adults are charged $3.55.
This program will be Monday-Thursday the weeks of June 21 & 28, July 12 & 19.
If you are going to eat lunch you must sign up before 8:30 am the day of the lunch.
Must eat lunch in the Litchfield Cafeteria from noon to 1:00 pm.
All Summer School Students will receive the free lunch and do not need to fill this out.

Excellence in Education
Litchfield Public School is a PreK-12 school located in Sherman County. The Litchfield School District covers 192 square miles and includes the towns of Hazard, Litchfield, Mason City, the southern portion of Sherman County, and the eastern portion of Custer County.
Academically, Litchfield is a 1:1 school that places a strong emphasis on natural integration of technology into the classroom. Some classes currently offered at Litchfield PS include: Online Advanced Placement Courses, Agricultural Education, Keyboarding, Accounting, Band, Chorus, Physical Education, Spanish I-IV, Weights, Beginning and Advanced Art, Journalism, Graphic Design, Distance Education, College Dual-credit Classes, Business and Marketing, and more.
Litchfield has enjoyed a competitive sports cooperative with Ansley, NE, since the 2012-2013 school year, allowing us to offer more sports and extracurricular activities.
Extracurricular Activities available at LPS include: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Wrestling, Rifle Club, FBLA, Speech, One Act, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, Honor Society, Cross Country, Cup Stacking, and FFA.
