Jackie Janssen has been a paraeducator at Litchfield Public Schools for 30 years. She began working in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom and has been in every elementary classroom except for Kindergarten. She has her Para certification and recently added an early childhood certification.
Jackie lives in Litchfield with her husband, Bill. They have a son Rocky who lives in Elm Creek. Rocky has a son Derek who will graduate from Elm Creek this year. A foster son, Jade, lives in Litchfield with his wife Aubrea. They have an infant son,

Ms.Mariah Sekutera is our new pre-k thru 12th grade para educator. She graduated from Loup City High School and went on to play college basketball and volleyball. She earned her coaching and para certificates and is currently working on finishing her early childhood education. Ms.Sekutera is in her second year as the high school assistant volleyball coach and the jr.high assistant girls track. She is in her first year as the high school girls assistant basketball coach.
Ms.Sekutera enjoys spending her free time with her family, along with helping her children along with her siblings/nieces/nephews with their 4-h projects, playing sports and coaching them, but above all seeing not only her own children succeed on and off the court but others.
Ms.Sekutera lives in Litchfield with her significant other Justin and their four children Tyra, Troy, Trace, and Tayah. She’s excited to be here and has a passion for children and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
