Hi my name is Mrs. Sauer! I am so THRILLED to be your teacher and the One Act Play Production coach! It will be my third wonderful year at Litchfield. This year we are going to learn a lot of new things, work together, and go on fun adventures! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I am going to share some information about me.

I was born in Wheat Ridge, CO (a suburb of Denver, CO) and moved to Ogallala, NE when I was four years old. I have one older brother, Bryce, who is married to a wonderful woman named, Renee, my sister-in-law, and a younger brother-in-law (my husband’s brother), Dru. My brothers and sister are pretty neat and you will hear more about them throughout the year. J

When I graduated from Ogallala High School, I moved to Kearney, NE, went to the University of Nebraska at Kearney and earned degrees in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language (teaching non-native English speaking students English).  I graduated in December 2011 and couldn’t wait to be a teacher. I was a substitute teacher for a semester and was SUPER EXCITED when I got my job at Litchfield. I was a 4-H Leader for six years and I have taught summer school for the last three years.  Now I am privileged to be your teacher!

I am married to Mr. Sauer who is a graphic designer at SCORR Marketing in Kearney. He has created a lot of things for our classroom and will hopefully help with some of our projects this year. Since he started a new job, we don’t know how his schedule will work this year. He and I like to go to Husker games, concerts, fish and hunt, play a lot of sports, and make neat things! We do not have any kids, but we have an awesome dog named, Yeti. She is a four year old, black lab that loves to play!

I am so EXCITED to guide you through this AWESOME adventure. I took some classes this summer that had great tips to make our classroom a FANTASTIC place. We will have a MAGNIFICENT year!
